BridalCheek

a journey toward non-traditional wedded bliss, with style

About the Site March 9, 2008

BridalCheek is a blog for brides who are as quirky as the name implies. Brides who aren’t afraid to stray from tradition, break the rules, view life with a sense of humor, and who can accomplish all of this with a sense of style.

    Hi,
I read your blog a lot and I started my own bridal blog as a place for my ideas for my own wedding and hopefully for others too! I’m a wedding photographer recently engaged and looking for something a bit different for my own wedding. I’d love it if you could add me to your blogroll, I’d be happy to link to you as well!

    Thanks!
    Nicole

    Hi BridalCheek!

Love, love, love this blog. I’m with The Wedding Party Studio in Dallas, TX and like you, we challenge our brides to think outside-the-box and do the unexpected. We’ve just launched a brand new site and we’re excited to introduce ourselves to BridalCheek and hopefully your readers. We hand-select and pre-screen all of our wedding professionals that fill our library. In the library brides can peruse though portfolios of top-notch wedding photographers, cake studios, stationers, wedding planners and more. Brides should also know that our library service is absolutely complimentary…and so is the pink champagne. ; )

Check out our new little darling when you have time – http://www.theweddingpartystudio.com

I’d say we’ve put as much discern into our boutique gifts & accessories department as we have the library. Our shop has a little bit of everything from sweet-treats made by local bakers to out-of-the-box bridal party gifts, vintage clutches and oodles of custom offerings. Some of our favorite local designers – Cahoots bridal bags, SonyaRenee Jewerly and Heatherly Designs…pretty sure you would fall in love with each. Look them up if you find time…

Anyway, I wanted you to know in case you wanted to let your readers know. I’d love to send you some photos of our studio if you are interested.

Hope to hear from you soon!

    Cheers,
    Robin

  11. Donna,
Hope all is well, noticed you haven’t posted in a while. If you can still post a couple times a month I would be interested in exchanging links with you from my wedding blog that I post to at least once a week *Wedding & Engagement Noise”.
I also have a quick business related question. Friends of mine over at a online wedding retailer are interested in advertising & being listed on your current blog as a possible image with alt text or a text link in your right navigation under “Wedding Resources” or something like that. Do you have any other “out of the box” ideas for them to be featured on your blog either in a post or sitewide (like an advertorial, blog post review, featured products?)
Look forward to hearing back from you and keep up the great writing!!

    Sincerely,
    Leslie Jenkins
